In 2017, I bought a rundown ranch right outside downtown Greenville with plans to fix and flip it. I quickly realized the work needed was more extensive than I could have imagined and began what would be a 4 year renovation. During those four years, I formed friendships with my neighbors, developed partnerships in the community, and completed countless DIY projects. After all of that hard work, I couldn’t bear to part with the house and that’s when the idea for GetawayGVL was born!     I’m GetawayGVL’s Experience Manager (and Hannah’s mom) and my goal is to ensure you have the best possible experience during your time in Greenville, South Carolina! I’ve lived in Greenville for over 30 years and have watched our city become a destination for travelers across the country.     Before GetawayGVL was your home away from home, it was Rutledge’s house (don’t worry, we cleaned REALLY well). Rutledge loves walking on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, playing fetch in GetawayGVL’s backyard, and exploring Greenville. He hopes you’ll love it as much as he did!
